Forestdale Hotels originally established in 1905 was purchased by Mr Robin Collins in 1968 with the acquisition of the Forest Park Hotel in Brockenhurst in the heart of the New Forest.
Over the years the company has now grown to 19 hotels within the United Kingdom and one in France. Despite the variety of styles there are some basic similarities and hopefully the greatest is 'the warmth, friendliness and willingness to please'. All the hotels are 3 star, with ensuite bedrooms, having remote control colour T.V., some with satellite T.V., courtesy trays, direct dial telephone, hairdryers, trouser press. Five have outside heated swimming pools in the summer while a further four have indoor leisure clubs including pools. The hotels have restaurants and bars. Four have tennis courts, one a squash court and two have horse-riding stables, but most of all they all have a friendly welcome!

Our philosophy to promote from within means that many of our staff have worked for Forestdale Hotels for a great number of years. Nevertheless we are always looking for new people to join our lively teams.
Forestdale Hotels runs a management trainee programme for individuals who aspire to assistant manager and manager level. If you are enthusiastic and highly motivated with genuine pride and passion for the hospitality industry then we would like to hear from you. This programme is suitable for recent graduates or those with strong supervisory experience in Hotels.
The training lasts 18 months and takes place at a number of our hotels around the country.
